Coronavirus – How to make the ideal time management for home-quarantine

Change language:

Our homes are safe environments where returning to after a long and tiring day is always a relief. They recharge us and provide us with every necessary comfort we need, and most importantly: it is our place and nobody else’s. Due to the coronavirus, we must stay at home now to stop the epidemic. Despite all the positive factors mentioned above, we are simply not programmed to remain indoors for months, and this might cause us problems.

Staying at home in the same environment for days, weeks and months might cause you difficulties and before you realise your private place will start to bother you. Chaos seems to be inevitable, and you do not know what to do. The most challenging thing about home-quarantine is that activities which we usually did outside of our homes suddenly “moved in” with us. After you woke up and had your breakfast, it is advisable to plan your day. Also, it is useful to categorise each task: what is necessary and cannot be postponed, what is essential but can be delayed later, and what is not that important to do right away. On the other hand, do not let your planning become your enemy! Be realistic because although you are at home and everything is provided, you do not have to change the world and overwork yourself. Less is more.
